ATMs

In Montanita there is a bank (Banco Bolivariano) serving from Wednesday to Sunday (10:30 am to 15 pm). It is a "mini" branch does not make so many transactions, it is advisable to go to Freedom (1 hour 30 drive from Montanita) and that there are major branches of banks of Ecuador.

As for ATMs, Montanita there are three, all support Master (Cirrus) and Visa (Plus) network.

Some businesses allow change Euros and travelers checks but there is no exchange agency. Almost all the major stores accept credit card (check before booking the hotel or restaurant).
